For the greatest pictures of the newly announced Samsung GX-10 digital SLR, checkout LetsgoDigital.
Among the greatest feats of this camera are a very robust build: you can take it wherever you like under any circumstances - maybe even on the beach???
Also super is an inbuild stabilizer that corrects movement of the image sensor. Better to buy it once in the camera body than pay for this option in every lens!
A drawback is the lens system: another “standard”, another vendor lock-in…
Still, İm glad Samsung dares to invest in camera development, providing alternatives for established vendors!

Macro photography is a very nice way to explore the small, but spectacular world we usually walk by…
Modern cameras have great macro capabilities, but it takes some time to master the skills.
Here are a few things to consider:

This is a superzoom in action: very nice and handy - but in a mirror the cam is very present at 2 cm distance…

Here a macrolens is used to get some distance from the object. The cam is a lot smaller now… Watch the small tripod.

Right: that looks good with controlled reflections… but the photographer should have used the self-timer and run away. The picture would have been better with a reflecting surface. Do not run off when you catch insects, though…

DCresource has a very good review on the Canon Powershot A710. As expected, it is a very, very nice camera. İt ıs compared to the brandnew G7… Of course it has less capabilities, but it is also much more pocketable and has standard batteries.
Read the article at the DCresource website and enjoy the sample pictures!
