Kodak EasyShare P712 Review

Kodak EasyShare P712

Popular Photography has a review of the Kodak EasyShare P712 digital camera: ‘Kodak’s EasyShare P712 is touted as a bridge or hybrid digital SLR camera, joining the P850 in line. It’s aimed at users who are on their second or third digicam and are looking for a more advanced model to take their imaging skills to the next level. The P712 is kind of in the middle of a point-and-shoot and digital SLR - not as compact as a typical compact digital model and somewhat smaller than an SLR. … Overall, colors looked sharp and well-saturated, and exposures showed plenty of detail. With a 12X superzoom, image stabilization as well being compatible with the EasyShare system, we give the EasyShare P712 a hit on our scorecard.’

Kodak EasyShare V610 Review at PCMag

Kodak EasyShare V610

The Kodak EasyShare V610 digital camera is reviewed at PCMag: ‘It’s an ultracompact. It’s a superzoom. It’s even wireless. Is this some kind of Orwellian digital camera triplespeak? No, it’s Kodak being (mostly) truthful in introducing its new 6-megapixel dual-lens camera, the EasyShare V610 ($449.95 list). I love the idea of the V610, but the pictures I took didn’t blow me away, and the price is no bargain. In the end, the V610 is a good camera that has some unique features, but it falls short of being a great buy.’

Kodak Easyshare Z650 Review at DPReview

Kodak Easyshare Z650

DPReview assesses the Kodak Easyshare Z650 digital camera, pronouncing it “prefectly good value”, but with some reservations: ‘Announced at CES in January 2006, the EasyShare Z650 replaces the Z740 at the top of the Kodak’s affordable super zoom range, and offers a lower cost, lower specified alternative to the ‘professional’ P850. The changes over the previous model are fairly modest; the pixel count increases from 5 to 6MP and the lens is now a Schneider Variogon (as opposed to the Z740’s Kodak Retinar) - though it looks suspiciously similar. Taken on its own the Z650 is a perfectly good camera, one capable of perfectly good results, and one that offers perfectly good value for money.’

Kodak EasyShare V570 Digital Camera Review

Easyshare V570

Kodak EasyShare V570 digital camera is a conversation piece if nothing else. Its twin-lens spec is unusual and effective.

DigitalCameraReview has a comprehensive review of this camera: “Many of my subjective thoughts regarding the look of the images can be overcome by some adjustments of the default settings (like the sharpness setting). The speed of camera operation was satisfactory, but not amazing, and battery life was very good. … The ultra-wide angle lens is impressive and a great feature to have in a camera of this size. By including the fun panorama assist feature, Kodak has given the photographer a lot of flexibility for fun landscape or cityscape shots.”

Current price for this camera: $399.99. Check it out here.
